The European Bioanalysis Forum is preparing to issue its Call for Sponsors for the 15th Open Symposium.

It has been a challenging 2 years, but with the good vibes from last November (over 250 delegates from 125 companies attended the meeting, one of the first conferences to go live since Covid-19), we are again gearing up to meet in person by November.

We count on the pandemic being nice to us in fall and aim for 4-500 delegates. We will return to Barcelona (Hyatt Barcelona Tower).  

Our plans

Covid isn’t over yet, so we will are not yet returning to the pre-Covid footprint. We are designing our meeting to have a similar sponsoring footprint compared to 2021, i.e. limiting the sponsor capacity to 24 seats. Also, there will be only one level of sponsorship (comparable to the pre-Covid-19 Gold level)

Good to know:

We will not limit the delegate footprint, i.e. the maximum capacity of the venue being 500 delegates will be our goal. However, we are mindful that reaching this goal will be dependent not only on the quality of the program (which is in our control), but also on travel restrictions (by company or region), travel budget limitations and individual travel willingness of the delegates (all which are out of our control). 

Considering our experience with Covid, be informed that we have designed a plan B and a plan C. Plan B will not affect the sponsoring possibilities or programming. However, if 2022 turns  into be a year where EU and/or Spanish gouvernment imposed travel restrictions make a live meeting impossible, we will bring the meeting cyberspace. In this case, we will cancel the possibilities for regular sponsoring (i.e. the 15th OS will be non-sponsored) and provide full refund or leave the option to move the funds into 2022.
